By using Project Tracker, you agree to these terms. They define your rights and responsibilities as a user of our platform.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you and Project Tracker governing your use of the platform at www.project-tracker.in. By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you confirm you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Project Tracker.
You must be at least 16 years old and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement on your own behalf or on behalf of your organisation. Your use of Project Tracker must not violate any applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
Accuracy — You must provide accurate, current information when registering and keep it up to date.
Security — You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@project-tracker.in if you suspect unauthorised access.
Workspace Admin — The person who creates a workspace is the Admin and is responsible for managing members, roles, and settings within it.
One person, one account — You may not share login credentials. Each team member must have their own account.
Roles — Project Tracker enforces six access roles (Admin, Manager, TeamLead, Developer, Tester, Viewer) with permissions enforced on every server request, not just in the UI.
Starter — Free forever for workspaces with up to 5 members. No credit card required.
Team — A paid subscription for workspaces requiring more members or advanced features. Pricing is shown at project-tracker.in/#pricing.
Enterprise — Custom pricing and terms. Contact sales@project-tracker.in.
Billing — Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes.
Cancellations — You may cancel at any time. Paid plans continue until the end of the billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds except where required by law.
⚠️ Non-payment: If a paid subscription lapses, your workspace downgrades to Starter. Data is retained for 30 days. Access to certain modules may be restricted if your team exceeds Starter limits.
You agree to use Project Tracker only for lawful, legitimate business purposes. You must not:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without notice and without refund.
Ownership — You retain full ownership of all content you create within Project Tracker: projects, tasks, tickets, messages, files, and all other data (“Your Content”).
Licence to Project Tracker — You grant Project Tracker a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.
Responsibility — You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the right to upload it.
Backup — While we maintain regular backups, you are responsible for your own backup strategy. Project Tracker is not liable for data loss.
To enable AI features, you must provide your own Anthropic API key. By enabling AI features, you agree that:
The Project Tracker platform, its design, code, branding, and all content we create are owned by Project Tracker. These Terms do not grant you any right to use the Project Tracker name or logo outside the Service without our written consent. Any feedback you provide may be used by us to improve the product without obligation to compensate you.
By you — Close your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account, or by emailing support@project-tracker.in.
By us — We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without notice, if you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if required by law.
Effect of termination — Access ceases immediately. Your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion, during which you may request an export.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Project Tracker SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO Project Tracker IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ₹1,000 (WHICHEVER IS GREATER).
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
When we make material changes, we will notify Workspace Admins by email and display a notice in the application at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
